Happy New Year’s Eve, everyone!
I really can’t believe that today is the last day of 2013! What an amazing, inspiring, challenging, beautiful, rough around the edges year it has been! We are definitely planning on sharing some of our favorite client images of the year later on, but for today just wanted to share some personal images from our somewhat impromptu adventure to NYC yesterday, to see the city all dressed up for Christmas! For years we’ve been talking about wanting to do this, and since we are visiting my parents at their new home in PA only a few hours away, we couldn’t NOT make the trip! In true Jen & Chris Creed day trip style, we loaded into the car (mom came too!) long before daylight and headed to the city. We usually try to stay away from more touristy things when we travel, but this trip was ALL about the touristy-Christmas-in-NYC things–Macy’s, Rockefeller Center, all the Christmas displays on 5th Ave., Central Park, a quick stop in Times Square to see the New Year’s Eve preparations, and more! Here’s a few of our favorites (pretty much all taken by Chris):
Love this shot Chris got of my mom!
I really can’t imagine what this crowd will look like tonight! Last night was way more crowd than I could handle 😉
Happy New Year! Here’s to many more adventures in 2014!
These are great! So glad you got to take a side trip and see NYC at Christmas. Thanks for sharing the photos! XO
I love NYC in December! Great photos.
