Introducing the new look Jen & Chris Creed | Photographers!

Hello, friends!

We are SO excited to finally launch our new brand and website! This has been a long time in the making, and we are so thrilled with how it turned out, and to be able to share it with you all! Our designer, Ravyn at Three Fifteen Design is seriously THE BEST EVER. No, really 🙂 She has been such a dream to work with, and it’s like she practically read our minds about what we wanted to portray. She is the sweetest, and was awesomely patient while it took us forever to make up our minds along the various steps of the project haha. We started off with an inspiration board Ravyn put together to pull together some things we liked, and get the right kind of feel that we were going for with the design:

We absolutely are over the moon! We love the warmth of the design, and that it feels so welcoming. The trees are perfect for us, because we love how being outdoors reminds us to stop and take in life, instead of always rushing around. It’s a reminder to be present, enjoy life, and to always be ready for an adventure.

For those of you that don’t know, I (Jen) started our business originally. Chris started shooting with me soon after, and over the years, his presence in the brand grew. Originally, it was Jennifer Creed | Photographer. Then I finally agreed to let him have an “s” at the end of photographer, and we became Jennifer Creed | Photographers. Then after we moved to Nashville and were both shooting full time, it became Jen & Chris Creed | Photographers. But the design and branding was still the same, and it never seemed to quite fit both of us. There was still a lot of just me in that design, and it made it hard to understand some times that we are both the photographers. So it was time for something new! While obviously there are a lot of surface changes, it’s also given us a great opportunity to refine what we love most about what we do, and reflect on how awesome our couples are! Ravyn also designed an incredible new website for us, which you should definitely check out! Here’s a screenshot of the front page (I may or may not have cried when I got the email with the site design haha):

In case I haven’t already said it a million times, we are SO excited! And we can’t thank all of our clients and friends who have been such an amazing encouragement and support over the years. 2013 has been awesome, and we can’t wait to see what the future brings! The blog will also be getting a bit of a facelift over the next week or so!
