It’s not every day that we get to photograph the wedding of someone we’ve known since before they were born! Which made Mary and Bill’s Kentucky vineyard wedding at Equus Run Vineyard in Midway, KY, even more special for us! I grew up going to the same church as Mary’s family, and her mom was pregnant with her at the same time my mom was pregnant with my brother. So let’s just say we go way back 😉 I hadn’t seen her in years, but Mary has grown into a stunning young woman, who is going to have an amazing life with her new husband Bill by her side! Mary and Bill met while on the same cross country team at Georgetown College. Bill actually proposed at the finish line after they both ran a half marathon last year! They love to just hang out and do daily life type things together, along with their awesome pug, Sneaker!

Their wedding day was amazing, and will be absolutely unforgettable haha. As Mary walked down the aisle, storm clouds started building off in the distance. Thunder boomed in approval of their vows, and just before their first kiss as husband and wife, the rain started coming down sideways! Everyone jumped to their feet, and there was a huge cheer as they were pronounced man and wife and everyone ran for cover! So awesome. Luckily the rain moved through pretty quickly, and cooled things down while everyone enjoyed the beautiful reception.

Here are some of our favorite photos from the day!

Lots of fun details! Mary wore her great-grandmother’s watch (which had been a present to her great-grandmother for her graduation). Also represented here are two of Chris’s favorite KY based beers!
