Hello everyone!
A few months ago we got an email from our friend Graham, one half of the fabulous photography duo The Scobeys. Their family was in the process of moving to Colorado, and Graham wanted to plan a surprise vow renewal for their 10 year anniversary. Graham and Ashley are two of the most encouraging people we’ve ever met, and we definitely wanted to be there to support them! So we planned the trip, and at the same time, also made plans to do some photos for them for their new website. Graham did all the vow renewal planning (with the help of friends, including the incredible Britain Lamon), friends made plans to come in, and we got to be a part of the diversionary tactics haha! We arrived in Colorado the day of the vow renewal, and after a few hours of hanging out (and Graham, Chris, and I anxiously pacing the house as we tried to get Ashley out to “scout photo locations” on time haha), we headed out under the pretense of taking some headshots and looking for a spot to do family photos. Totally worth it when we got to the mountain top spot Graham picked out and Ashley saw the group of friends and family waiting! The next day we all headed to Breckenridge and Loveland Pass to explore for the day before ending the day with some incredible pizza in Idaho Springs!
