Happy month-a-versary to Seth and Taylor! We are so excited to be sharing more of their sweet Estes Chapel wedding in Wilmore, KY today!
I feel like I’ve shared this story many times between the Facebook page and their engagement session, but I’ve known Seth and his family for a loooong time (I’m thinking at least late elementary school for me!). There are no words to explain what an honor it was to be invited to photograph such a special day, and to capture these sweet moments for a family who watched me grow up, and whose kids I watched grow up. A family who let me baby sit their kids even after a scare with the pilot light going out on the oven that I thought was a gas leak lol. A family who were some of my first models when I got my fancy new camera and was starting to learn about portraits (oh yeah–found those recently! I’ll spare us all ;-)). Seeing Seth meet Taylor and fall in love and seeing these two get ready to start their lives together was just so sweet! On top of all that, the campus of Asbury (where Estes Chapel is located) was one of the places I explored with my camera in my early days of becoming a photographer.
But, enough about me! Seth and Taylor are just so sweet together, and were so excited to get married and celebrate with the people they love most. Their ceremony was officiated by their (and our!) family friend Shawn (his first ever ceremony officiating–he did such a great job!) and was so personal and meaningful and talked about always pursuing each other the way God pursues us. And their reception was such a fun celebration, and they never stopped smiling and taking the time to make sure all their guests knew they were glad they were there.
