Coming together with your very favorite people to celebrate the start of your marriage, and honoring your family and friends–it’s what the most beautiful and meaningful wedding days are made of! Rachel and Will’s rainy day wedding at Historic Rock Castle was the epitome of meaningful wedding celebrations. These two are so joyful and fun together. They love to laugh and spend time together, and they love their families and friends. We got a glimpse into their amazing spirits with their adventure engagement session back in the fall, and it was so fun to see them with their people on their wedding day! A little rain wasn’t going to dampen the festivities! Talking to Rachel a little before the wedding, I was just struck by her joy, and how excited she was to marry Will, but also to have that day with their families. Rachel, an agriculture pro, pulled together all the incredible flowers (those proteas!!!!). The reception was a family affair, with family members contributing their signature desserts, a cake made by a family friend, and heirloom flower vases. And while the rain may have come early in the day, they were rewarded with the most stunning sunset over the lake as the evening came to a close!
