Hello, everyone!
We hope you all are enjoying this lovely spring! Today we are throwing it back to recap a lovely intimate winter wedding at The Red House in Franklin! Andrew & Hirono were married in a sweet ceremony just a few days after Christmas. They originally met in TN when Hirono was studying abroad, but now both live in Japan. They were coming back to TN for Christmas, and decided to get married while they were here! Andrew’s mom helped pull together such a beautiful and meaningful celebration for them, full of warm hospitality, incredible Nashville food, and the perfect personal touches. Their laid back reception included one of my very favorite things that you find around Nashville: a writer’s round with Grammy award winner Ed Hill & friends (if you’ve never been to one, during writer’s rounds, a group of songwriters get together and alternate singing songs that they wrote–often times that were recorded and made famous by popular artists–and telling the stories behind the songs that you know so well. It’s the best!). We got to meet Andrew and Hirono the day of the wedding, and I was immediately struck by just how sweet and joyful they are together. They were so happy to be celebrating with the people they loved most–both those who were there in person and those who were there in spirit.
On to some of our favorites from the day!
Congratulations again, Andrew & Hirono! We so loved celebrating with you all, and hope you have been loving settling in to married life!
