Happy Tuesday, friends! Today seems like a beautiful day to share some images from Joey and Claire’s outdoor Nashville wedding this past weekend! They had an incredibly beautiful and emotional morning wedding, in the Celtic Cross garden at Woodmont Hills Family of God. A delicious bbq lunch followed, catered by Edley’s BBQ! And Claire arranged all the flowers for the wedding!
We have so enjoyed getting to know these two sweet people, and loved being there to celebrate with them, their family, and their friends! They both love people, and love to serve people so much–even on their own wedding day (more on that below!). Claire has been on several trips to India, and wore an anklet from India to honor her time there. Claire and Joey were first introduced by Joey’s cousin, who is married to Claire’s good friend. They met at church, and before they were introduced, Joey had already spotted Claire, and hoped that was the girl he was going to meet. When I asked Claire about their favorite things to do together, I absolutely loved her answer, which was “As corny as it sounds, we really enjoy doing everything together. Everything is more fun, more exciting, and more of an adventure when we do it together.” Not corny at all, Claire, and having someone to go on adventures with is an amazing thing, and I love that you two have that! 🙂
Here’s to the beginning of a beautiful story together!
The quilt hanging behind Claire and Joey is the quilt Joey had made when he proposed, that has Claire’s nickname, some of their favorite Bible verses, and other meaningful words and phrases! So sweet.
Congratulations, Joey and Claire! I hope you’re having an amazing time in New York!
Thank you all for stopping by the blog! We hope you have a great week, and if you’d like to keep up with the latest adventures, we would love to have you join us on Facebook and Instagram (@jencreed and @chriscreed)!
