Ohhhh you guys. I don’t even know where to start with how much I love this session, and how thankful we are to know this beautiful family! It has taken practically forever to narrow these images down to a somewhat acceptable number (and I’m probably still pushing it 😉 )! At our very core, the thing Chris and I love most about photography is creating images that help people remember what a certain time in their life felt like. We are so thankful for the opportunity to document this time as the Scobeys await the birth of their little boy in the fall–so exciting!
This is a family of dreamers, and a family of doers. A family full of so much love and encouragement and creativity. Graham and Ashley are AMAZING photographers in Atlanta (among many other things!), and we first “met” them online through various interactions. We finally met Graham in person last fall, but this was the first time we got to meet Ashley in person! Even though we felt like we’ve known them forever 🙂 Documenting a little bit of their daily life was such an inspiration. From playing games together, to tending the family garden, story time with grass stained knees, to cooking dinner together, every moment was full of laughter and joy (and overseen by the family dog, Bear!). Perfect, even amongst it’s imperfections.
