With over 17 years in the wedding industry, Denver-based photographer Jen Creed brings artistry, expertise, and a touch of magic to everyone she works with.
Jen photographs weddings and portrait sessions all over the world, including her home base of Colorado as well as Paris, Scotland, New York City, the Pacific Northwest, Nashville, Charleston, and beyond. what is documentary wedding photography?
Documentary wedding photography is story first.
Documentary wedding photography focuses on the story of your day. The characters, the setting, and the emotion. Documentary wedding photography lets your moments unfold naturally and beautifully, as they are.
The heart and soul of my work is documentary. I blend in to the background, capturing the moments you might not even know were happening. I look for the in-between, the real interactions and joy and stories in the day, all set against the backdrop of the location that's so meaningful to you.
But what makes my work different is that I'm also there to support the logistics as much as you need--creating those family photos that are so important, but making sure they go smoothly. GIving direction to help you feel your best in front of the camera. Designing a timeline that feels right for you. And creating the framework that allows you to truly be present in your day.
