Hello, everyone!
I’m so glad fall weather finally seems to have arrived! It has been such a beautiful week. And the perfect time to share Diane and Glenn’s beautiful fall wedding at Cedarwood in Nashville. The weather was definitely more August-like on Saturday, but nothing could put a damper on the amazing celebration Diane and Glenn planned! We have had so much fun working with these two and getting to know them better. I love the story about how they started dating. Glenn was running Greek Week with Diane’s big sis from her sorority (who Diane was always with!). Glenn asked Diane to dinner one night, and she said she would go, but only if her Big was allowed to come too. So they went, and after, Glenn asked if he could drive her home. Diane said no. She rode home with her Big, who gave her a stern talking to about how ridiculous she was being, while Diane said she wasn’t interested in dating. Glenn asked Diane out several more times, and she continued to say no, until one day she felt guilty and asked him to a sorority dance. He said yes, and the rest is history! These two are absolutely perfect for each other, and it was so fun to hear the stories from those closest to them about how they truly are the picture perfect example of how opposites attract! Diane is more outgoing, while Glenn is more quiet. But one thing that’s the same is how much they love each other, and the way they looked at each other all day long on their wedding day was just beautiful!
Their outdoor wedding at Cedarwood was just perfect, filled with lots of laughs, lots of happy tears, and a lot of party! On to some of our favorite images from the day:
Such a sweet, emotional first look with her dad!
I always love the moment of anticipation just before the bride walks down the aisle…
…And Chris caught this beautiful moment between Diane’s parents as she was waiting!
I loved all the purple and orange fall details! And I especially loved that Diane had her grandfather’s pin from WWII on her bouquet, and it was wrapped in her grandmother’s gloves.
We were thrilled to get to hear The Downtown Band play again! They are the best!
Such an awesome day! Diane and Glenn–many, many congratulations to you both! We wish you all the best, and know you’re going to have such an amazing and exciting life together (along with Emma Lynn!)! Have an AMAZING time in Europe!
A big thanks to everyone who helped make the day awesome! Thanks to Cedarwood for event planning, styling, and flowers. Patty Cakes did the beautiful cake, Designs in Paper all the wonderful paper goods, and thanks to Chef Christopher for the delicious meal! Focal Point Cinematic were the videographers. The Downtown Band brought the party music, and Diane’s dress was Maggie Sottero from Bridal and Formal in Cincinnati.
Thank you all for stopping by the blog! Feel free to leave a comment of congratulations to the lovely bride and groom, and if you’d like to stay up to date with our latest news, we’d love to have you join us on Facebook!
