The beautiful fall weather made it’s way into Nashville just in time for Lauren and Jeff’s Cheekwood Botanical Gardens wedding this weekend, and it could not have been more perfect! We were so excited to celebrate with these two and their friends and family, especially after getting to know them better throughout the wedding planning process. Lauren and Jeff met on the day of THE Nashville flood back in 2010, at Jeff’s brother’s wedding shower. Lauren was friends and pledge sisters with the bride to be, and also knew Jeff’s brother. They didn’t start dating right away, but hit it off, and Lauren eventually moved to Nashville! They both love the outdoors (our kind of people!), and Jeff actually did an Ironman the weekend before the wedding! How awesome is that?!
Lauren and Jeff had their ceremony at Christ the King in Nashville, and it was such a sweet celebration. I love that while they planned a wonderful celebration with all their friends and family, what they were most excited about was standing before God and starting their lives together! Lauren was an absolutely stunning bride (and her dress was the first one she tried on!), and the way Lauren and Jeff looked at each other all day would just melt your heart! The reception under the stars at Cheekwood was so much fun, and the emotional speeches by Lauren’s dad, Jeff’s twin brother, and Lauren’s sister really showed how much these two families have come together.
