Happy Friday, everyone!
Today is the perfect day to share more of our favorites from Lindsay and Taylor’s wedding at the Cordelle, part two of their wedding celebrations! Be sure to check out part one if you haven’t seen it yet 🙂 But if you have, continue on! As I mentioned in our other post, Lindsay and Taylor are two of the most thoughtful people we’ve ever met, and the care that they put into this second ceremony (with the help of Lindsay’s mom!) was no less meaningful than the first. They really wanted everyone to feel like they were part of something important, and that they hadn’t missed out on anything by not being at the family ceremony. The ceremony was filled with readings by friends, words to each other, the signing of a contract bringing the families together, and of course, a wedding day selfie and drone flyover! So many thoughtful details filled the historic Cordelle, including old family wedding photos, placecards where Lindsay drew a sketch of each wedding guest, lots of subtle touches of space (including Lindsay’s handmade cake topper!), and more! One of my favorite touches was the projection of The Empire Strikes Back in black and white during dinner–are you kidding me?! So fun. It truly was overwhelming in the very best way to be a part of such a joy-filled weekend. Several times I found myself just stopping to take in all the wonderful things that were going on, and the happiness of everyone around us, all because Lindsay and Taylor fell in love.
On to some (ok, ok, a TON!) of our favorites from the day!
